Add glitter to sharara for celebrations

New Delhi, Sep 23 (IANS): Sharara, a traditional outfit, is a must-have for the festive season. Make it a bit glittery to enhance its look, says designer Reynu Taandon.

The designer says that “traditional” attire can add charm and grace to a woman's personality.

“On the occasion of Eid, one can go for sharara which makes them look more beautiful and traditional,” she said in a statement.

“There are many combinations and designs for this dressing and the most wearable colours are red, orange, indigo and pink. We can add some glitter to it so as to increase its beauty and accessorise it with colourful bangles,” she added.

Sharara is a suit made up of three items of clothing- the salwar which is the trouser part; kameez - a long tunic worn over the salwar; and a duppata - a long piece of fabric which can be worn around the head to complete the dress.
