Bigg Boss 8 - Big Crash site?

Daijiworld Media Network - Entertainment

Mumbai, Sep 22: Having Salman Khan at the helm of affairs has failed to give Bigg Boss 8 the requisite boost this time, for a good enough start. Minissha Lambha, Karishma Tanna, Sukriti Kandpal, Soni Singh, Upen Patel, Gautan Gulati are amongst the others who will walk into the hallowed halls of the Bigg Boss house.

What was shown of the place that the contestants walked into looked like a crash site and not comfortable at all, more so given that their 'house' is devoid of bedrooms. With dark blue upholstered air-plane chairs, half a plane in the middle of the courtyard, and a surrounding house that looks haunted with cobwebs and scattered debris of plants the set is complete. The atmosphere seems ominous for all the promised twists, turns and fights to come.

The stars who are going to be revelling in this abject luxury are here for varied reasons from wanting to gain mileage for their individual careers, to overcoming their fear of exposure to just for fun. Many seem like they are alter egos to contestants past- for example Natasha Stankovik seems to be entering for Eli Evram, Sushant Divgikar steps into the shoes of Imam Siddique and Sukriti Kandpal will probably seem like another Pratyusha Banerjee.

Will they create as much of a buzz and manage to fulfill their goals through the show or completely lose the plot half way through and come out with not much to recommend them remains to be seen.
