Rio de Janeiro, Sep 17 (IANS) Internacional have confirmed the signing of former Brazil striker Nilmar.
The 30-year-older will wear the No. 7 shirt in a three-year deal with his original club, Xinhua quoted the Brazilian outfit as saying Tuesday.
Internacional reportedly beat off interest from Corinthians in the former Villarreal striker, who left Qatari outfit El Jaish in July.
It will be Nilmar's third spell with the Porto Alegre side, for whom he has scored 64 goals in 150 matches.
According to the local daily Folha de S. Paulo, the attacker will earn about $400,000 a month.
