Kolkata, Sep 12: Asian Games gold medal winner Pinki Pramanik today demanded to know what punishment should be awarded to the woman who had dragged her into the trial in the first place. Anamika Acharya - Pinki's live in partner had accused Pinki of raping her.

Anamika's accusation led to Pinki being arrested and brought to court. Pinki then was asked by the courts to prove her gender, for which she had to go to various hospitals and was subjected to a battery of tests for the same. Pinki said that the sex determination test was humiliating with all the media attention that followed her everywhere she went.

She plodded on with unwavering faith that one day the truth would see the light of day and her innocence would be proven. An employee of the Eastern Railway, Sealdah, Pinki was grateful to all who had supported through this arduous journey.

The middle runner is eager to get back on track both for a run - as well as her life.
