Bantwal, Sep 19: Chief minister D K Shivakumar met senior Congress leader and former Union minister B Janardhana Poojary at his residence in Mangaluru on Friday.

Sharing details of the meeting, Shivakumar said he had the opportunity to meet the veteran leader at a significant moment when the historic special Cabinet meeting was held in Mangaluru.

He said it brought him immense happiness to have the opportunity to meet and seek the blessings of the senior leader on such an important occasion.
