Mangaluru, Sep 17: A solemn yet joyful retirement programme was organized at Ladyhill Victoria High School Hall to honor teacher Elizabeth on her momentous day.
The celebration commenced with a ceremonial Holy Mass in the convent chapel, invoking divine blessings for her future journey. Before transitioning to a vibrant cultural programme in the school hall. Teacher Elizabeth was warmly escorted to the venue alongside her son, Dhyan, accompanied by key dignitaries: Sr Maria Kripa A C joint secretary of Ladyhill Institutions, Sr Pushpa Pinto AC headmistress, and Avita PTA vice president.

The formal programme opened with a prayer service, during which students prayed for teacher Elizabeth's good health and long life, followed by a warm welcome address by the headmistress and a graceful welcome dance. A highlight of the morning was a touching documentary detailing her life and legacy, featuring heartfelt video messages from her brother, her daughter, former students, and her former colleague.
The event continued with energetic group dances, thoughtful reflections shared by students, and an inspiring skit depicting the dedication and values Teacher Elizabeth exemplified throughout her career.
During the main felicitation segment, the dignitaries honoured teacher Elizabeth for her years of dedicated service. In her response, teacher Elizabeth addressed the gathering, sharing personal insights from her career and encouraging students to strive for continuous self-improvement and aim high in life. The celebration concluded on a melodious note with a joint farewell song rendered by the students, leaving the audience with fond memories and deep gratitude for her invaluable contributions.
