‘Divine Touch’ children’s summer camp held at St Sebastian Church, Permannur

Media Release

Mangaluru, Apr 9: The children’s summer camp titled ‘Divine Touch’ was successfully held April on 7 and 8. The camp was organised by St Sebastian Church, Permannur, in collaboration with the Family Commission.

The first day began with a meaningful inauguration through the lighting of the lamp. The day was filled with various group activities and action songs, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. A special session on the importance of family life was conducted by Fr Alwyn Richard D’Souza, which was both informative and engaging for the children.

The second day focused on a deeper spiritual experience. It included the celebration of the Holy Mass, Adoration, and a divine experience-sharing session led by Fr Santosh Menezes. The children actively participated and had a prayerful and enriching experience. This was followed by an exciting Bible Quiz conducted by Fr Vikas Pereira, which added joy and learning to the day.

On both days, the food and snacks provided were excellent and very tasty, and all the children enjoyed them greatly. The camp was very well organised, and all arrangements were made meticulously under the guidance of Fr Cyprian Pinto.

Overall, the camp was a great success. The children were very happy and expressed their appreciation for the entire programme.
