Mangaluru, Aug 8: U T Khader, minister for health and family welfare, government of Karnataka, visited St Lawrence Church, Bondel, on Saturday evening as part of the ongoing 10-day annual feast celebrations.
During his visit, U T Khader participated in the religious ceremonies and sought the blessings of the Almighty. He also took part in the traditional candle-lighting ceremony held at the church as part of the feast celebrations.









Archbishop Emeritus of Bangalore Dr Bernard Moras led the special prayer during the occasion and blessed the gathering.
Fr Basil Vas, parish priest of St Lawrence Church, Bondel, and John D’Silva were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, U T Khader extended his greetings to the parishioners and devotees on the occasion of the feast. He spoke about the importance of faith, peace, unity and harmony in society and wished for the well-being and prosperity of all.
Dr Bernard Moras led the special prayer during the occasion and blessed the gathering.
