Mangaluru, Feb 18: Astitva (R), Mangaluru in association with Ranga Adhyayana Kendra, Arehole Prathistaana, Kannada Department and School of Languages and Cultural Studies, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) is pleased to announce a two-day musical series titled 'Suron Ki Mehfil' and 'Mysterium'. The performances will be held at the Mother Theresa Peace Park, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), at 6:30 pm on February 19 and 20.

The event is curated to provide a gentle and harmonious experience, inviting the audience to find their inner calm through the power of melody. The evenings are designed to be a peaceful retreat for the community.

February 19: Suron Ki Mehfil (Echoes of Indian Classical Music) - The series begins with a performance by Keerthan Naiga, a distinguished student of St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) and an accomplished professional vocalist. The music will focus on the timeless and resonant beauty of Indian Classical music.

February 20: Mysterium (A Fusion of Music and Drama) - The evening features Jason Lobo, a young and soulful singer-composer renowned in the world of Konkani music. A trained classical singer, Jason is known for blending rich poetry with evocative melodies. He will be accompanied by his team, a group well-known for performing soothing and reflective music. Together, they will create an evening of storytelling and song, offering a calm and authentic musical experience for their growing audience.
