Kundapur: Bengaluru man arrested for abusive Facebook comment

Kundapur, Feb 14: The Kundapur police have arrested a man from Bengaluru on charges of posting abusive comments on Facebook.

The arrested individual has been identified as Prakash S (45), a resident of Mathikere, Bengaluru.

The incident dates back to March 4, 2025, when the accused allegedly posted a derogatory comment on a news-related post using a Facebook account named ‘Hemmeya Karyakarta’. Following a complaint regarding the offensive nature of the remarks, the local police initiated an investigation and tracked down the user.

The accused was brought to Kundapur and produced before the court.
