Moodbidri, Dec 11: An out-of-state goods lorry, which was carrying cargo, rammed into a wall after the driver mistakenly followed a wrong route shown by Google Maps.

The incident occurred around 2 am on Wednesday near Kadandale in the Paladka gram panchayat limits.

The lorry was navigating a curve in the downhill area of Kadandale when the driver, unfamiliar with the road, became confused and lost control, causing the vehicle to crash into a wall on the opposite side.

The driver stated that he was supposed to proceed toward the Moodbidri paper mill but ended up taking the wrong route by relying on Google Maps, leaving him stuck in the area.
