Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE shines bright at Karnataka state Skating championship

Mangaluru, Nov 12: Displaying exceptional speed, balance, and composure on the rink, Krithi S Aithal, a grade IV student of St Agnes School (CBSE), Mangaluru, brought pride to the institution by winning multiple medals at the 41st State Speed Skating Championship and Selection Trials 2025, hosted by the Karnataka Roller Skating Association (KRSA) from November 5 to 9, at City Skaters Arena, Bengaluru.

Competing in the under-10 Girls category, Krithi secured silver medals in both the one lap rink race and one lap road race, along with a bronze medal in the 500m rink race. Her stellar performance earned her qualification for the 63rd National Level Skating Championship 2025, scheduled to be held in December.

Krithi, the daughter of Sudeep S Aithal and Deepthishree S Aithal, is a dedicated member of the Mangalore Roller Skating Club and trains under the expert guidance of Mahesh Kumar and Shravan Mahesh, whose mentorship has been instrumental in shaping her sporting journey.

The management, principal, vice principal, staff and students of St Agnes School (CBSE) extended their hearty congratulations to Krithi on her remarkable achievement and wished her continued success as she advances to the national stage.
