Mangaluru, Sep 14: Mount Carmel Central School, Maryhill, celebrated Rashtriy Hindi Diwas on September 12 with enthusiasm, highlighting the richness, beauty and significance of the Hindi language.

The celebration commenced with a morning prayer and assembly conducted in Hindi by the members of the Literary Club. Through the prayer and presentations, students highlighted the importance of Hindi as a language that connects people and enriches India’s linguistic and cultural heritage.

Adding colour and creativity to the celebration, a series of competitions were organised for students of grades V to X. The events included paragraph writing, mono acting, doha singing, Hindi elocution, poetry writing, and ‘Muhavron Ka Rangmanch’.

Several students participated with keen interest, showcasing their creativity, confidence, expressive skills and command of Hindi. The competitions provided students with diverse platforms to explore Hindi through writing, poetry, oratory, music and performance.

The celebration served not merely as an observance of Rashtriy Hindi Diwas, but as an engaging opportunity for students to learn, express and celebrate the beauty of Hindi, fostering greater interest and pride in the language.
