London, Oct 20: SKA London (South Kanara Association), led by Sunil D’Cunha, is all set to present ‘Konkani Sambhram 4’ on Sunday,October 26 at the prestigious Harrow Arts Centre. Gates open at 1 pm, with the event commencing at 2 pm.
The highlight of the event is the Wilson Oliver Nite, featuring iconic Konkani music legend Sangeet Sardar Wilson Olivera from Mangaluru along with his team, who are set to enthrall Konkani music lovers. The event will also feature the acclaimed Konkani drama of Chafra D’Costa, Hando Utla, presented by Dony Correa and his team from Dubai.




About the South Kanara Association (SKA)
The South Kanara Association (SKA London) was formed in 1979 to provide a forum for social gatherings for people from the South Kanara district of Karnataka in India, whose mother tongue is Konkani. The Association currently has approximately 150 active member families living in the London area. SKA organizes several events annually, including the Christmas Dinner and Dance, Valentine Dinner and Dance, Easter Celebration, two summer picnics, Sports Day, SKA Voice of London, Naach London Naach, charity events, and a celebration of the feast of Mother Mary. Wilson Olivera – Golden Hits Nite
Wilson Olivera, fondly known as Sangeeth Sardar and Konkan Manik, is celebrated for his soul-stirring lyrics and captivating voice. He has earned a special place in the hearts of Konkani music enthusiasts from Mangaluru to Mumbai, Dubai, and beyond. Known for blending melody with emotion, Olivera’s compositions capture the essence of Konkani culture, tradition, and storytelling. His musical nites—rich in song, dance, and rhythm—have become a beloved celebration of the Konkani spirit.
He has composed more than 800 Konkani songs, released eight music albums, contributed original compositions to the Konkani film Nashibacho Khel, and presented 56 full-fledged Wilson Olivera Nites.

Celebrating his 57th musical nite in London, Wilson Olivera will be accompanied by the esteemed compere Dony Correa, along with Asha Correa and Joseph Sequeira, with music direction by the renowned UK band Rifter’s. A stellar lineup of vocal talents, including Ashwin D’Costa and Sonal Monteiro from Mangaluru, will grace the stage. Joseph Mathias, a singer, actor, and cultural supporter, will also join the Wilson Olivera Nite. Local UK talents Sheryl Cornelio, Lanisha, and Delisha Vaz will perform, along with live dances by local artists.
Konkani Drama – Chafra’s Hando Utla
Hando Utla is a classic work by Chafra, a playwright who revolutionized Konkani theatre with his one-act plays. Dony Correa and his Dubai team will present this masterpiece, featuring actors Godwin Castelino, Rohan Kalakul, Cynthia Mendona, Asha Correa, and Dony Correa. The drama is directed by Dony Correa, with music by Rohan Kalakul. Deona and Delisha Correa will provide additional support for music and lighting.
Dony Correa and his team are known for their extraordinary performances and have captivated audiences worldwide. The drama promises an evening of nostalgia, humour, emotion, and memorable storytelling with a meaningful message.
Konkani Sambhram 4 is more than just a show; it is a celebration of identity and heritage. In a multicultural city like London, events like this play a vital role in preserving and promoting Konkani language, music, and customs, bridging generations from elders carrying traditions to youth discovering their roots.
