Bengaluru rider seriously injured after bike skids in Kundapur

Kundapur, Sep 16: A bike rider sustained serious injuries after his vehicle skidded on National Highway 66 near the embankment between Tallur and Jaladi on September 15 at around 6.10 pm.

The injured rider, estimated to be around 50-55 years old, is said to be a native of Bengaluru. He was riding a Yamaha RX 100 (KA 09 E 8394) from Byndoor towards Kundapur when the mishap occurred. It is suspected that the accident was caused by the wet road due to evening rain.

Passengers travelling on the highway immediately responded and arranged for an ambulance to shift the injured rider to the hospital. He is reported to have sustained serious injuries. Further details are awaited.
