Udupi: Parkala Junction work to begin in three days, Indrali Bridge to open on Sep 22

Udupi, Sep 12: MP Kota Srinivas Poojary has announced that the long-awaited development work at Parkala Junction will commence on Monday, September 15.

The Udupi–Chikkamagaluru MP, who inspected both Parkala Junction and the Indrali railway bridge works, directed engineers to widen the gradient and make alternative arrangements for smooth vehicular movement during the construction period. He emphasized that traffic regulation is essential to prevent accidents in the busy junction area.

Poojary instructed officials to complete the Parkala Junction work within a week, assuring that the road will be fully operational shortly thereafter.

Meanwhile, the Indrali railway bridge construction is progressing rapidly. The MP confirmed that the Indrali Bridge will be opened for traffic on September 22 without delay, providing much-needed relief for commuters.
