Dharmasthala mass grave case: Nine more police personnel assigned to SIT

Beltangady, July 31: In connection with the investigation into the alleged burial of multiple bodies in the Dharmasthala region, nine additional police personnel have been deputed to the Special Investigation Team (SIT), following the earlier appointment of three senior officers and 20 personnel.

As per orders issued by DG & IGP Dr M A Saleem on July 30, these police officials have been instructed to report to the SIT with immediate effect until further notice.

They are as follows:

  • PSI Lawrence from Uppinangady police station

  • HC Puneeth from CEN police station

  • HC Manohar from Uppinangady police station

  • PC Manoj from Vittal police station

  • PC Sandeep from Punjalkatte police station

  • PC Lokesh from Udupi CSP police station

  • HC Satish Naik from Honnavar police station

  • HC Jayaramegowda and HC Balakrishna Gowda from Mangaluru FMS unit
