Sullia: Four youths killed in horrific car-lorry collision near Koyanadu on Mani–Mysuru highway

Sullia, Jul 25: In a tragic accident, four youths lost their lives in a collision between a car and a lorry on the Mani–Mysuru National Highway near Koyanadu in Madikeri taluk on Friday, July 25.

The deceased have been identified as Nihad, Rishan, and Rashib — all hailing from Gonikoppal in Kodagu district. The identity of the fourth deceased youth is yet to be confirmed.

The accident occurred while the group was travelling from Ullal to their hometown. The impact of the collision was so severe that all four occupants of the car died on the spot.

The bodies have been taken to the Sullia hospital and necessary procedures are currently underway. Kodagu police have inspected the accident site and are gathering further information.

Efforts are on to inform the families of the deceased.
