Udupi, July 14: In a first-of-its-kind initiative, Daijiworld Udupi, Kishoo Enterprises is all set to host the ‘Asadi Odr’ reels competition on the occasion of World Kundapura Kannada Day. The competition aims to provide a unique platform for reel makers and creators to showcase their creativity in Kundapura Kannada and win attractive prizes.

World Kundapura Kannada Day is celebrated on the occasion of Ashadi Amavasye every year. The day celebrates the ethnicity and authenticity of the people of Kundapura. Every year, various associations and organisations of Kundapurians celebrate this day in their native place as well as abroad.

Kundapura Kannada, as a language spoken by the people of Kundapur and surroundings, has a unique dialect of Kannada. It is a beautiful language having its own authenticity and beauty.

Daijiworld Udupi, Kishoo Enterprises has called upon enthusiastic creators to participate in the event by sending their reels that not only entertain but also convey a meaningful message to society.

The competition is designed to encourage creators to focus on local dialects, culture, and the unique flavour of Kundapura Kannada, thus promoting regional language and identity through digital media.

The winners securing first, second, and third places will be awarded by Daijiworld Udupi, Kishoo Enterprises and the best video will also be telecast on Daijiworld 24x7 channel, offering wider visibility and recognition for upcoming creators.

Rules and regulations:

• Reels should have a maximum duration of 2 minutes.
• Winners will be chosen based on their creativity.
• Videos can include comedy or talk, but creativity is essential.
• The reel must convey a meaningful message.
• Each video should feature only one person and must be in Kundapura Kannada.
• Participants can submit only one video entry.
• Videos must be recorded in landscape mode (16:9) with 1080p resolution.
• The best videos will be broadcast on Daijiworld 24x7 channel.
• Judges’ decisions will be final and binding.
• Participants must include their name, mobile number, Instagram ID, and address with their video submission.
