Mangaluru: Woman pedestrian killed on the spot after being hit by Bolero

Mangaluru, July 13: A woman pedestrian lost her life on the spot after being hit by a Bolero vehicle in Derlakatte late on July 12 night.

The deceased has been identified as Kamala (58), a native of Kerala.

Her daughter, Meera, is a doctor at a private hospital in Derlakatte, and both mother and daughter were residing in an apartment nearby. The accident occurred when Kamala was crossing the road to return to the apartment, and the Bolero vehicle hit her.

She reportedly sustained severe injuries and died on the spot. Police have visited the scene and an investigation is underway.
