Mangaluru: Much-awaited Tulu movie ‘Balipe’ releases at Big Cinemas

Mangaluru, May 24: Tulu movie ‘Balipe’ directed by Prasad Poojary Arva released at Big Cinemas on Friday May 24.

Balakrishna Shetty from Sri Kshetra Perara, along with actors Aravind Bolar and Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, film director Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, Daijiworld media founder and managing director Walter Nandalike, actor Rahul Amin, corporator Kiran Kumar, Chandravathi, Chandra Shekar Shetty from Sanatana Natyalaya, Sharadha Manishekar, Ram Prasad, Kiran Rai Bajal, Mohan Das Shetty, Narendra Kerakadu, Niranjan, and others graced the grand release event.

The movie 'Balipe' is set to premiere in 16 theaters. Producer Hemanth Suvarna initiated the project several years ago. This movie carries a significant message, raising awareness about Daiva, as the number of Daiva devotees is declining. The film's theme is inspired by the endosulfan tragedy in Kerala.

Directed by Prasad Poojary Arva, 'Balipe' promises to captivate audiences with its intriguing storyline and talented ensemble cast.

Harshit Bangera and Ankitha Patla play the lead. Dayananda G Kattalsar, portrays a special character. Aravind Bolar, Ranjan Bolar, and Pavithra Hegde, infuse the film with laughter. Pran Shetty, Aishwarya Acharya, Baby Sudishna Shetty, Deepak Suvarna, Drithi Sai, Girish Hegde, Navin Bondel, Abhishek Arkula, Ramachandra, and Vasanth play pivotal roles in the movie.

Cinematography isn handled by Rakshit Chinnu and Udaya Ballal. Editing is handled by K M Prakash.

The lyrics are written by Gangadhar Shetty Alake and Dayanand G Kattalsar. Kalavathi Dayanand, Akshay Jagadish and Akhila Pajimannu have rendered their voice for the songs.

The film's musical score is composed by Akash Reddy. Yashwant Bhupathi and Akash Reddy have composed the background music.

Suresh Shetty brings (Indian Karate) has choreographed thrilling stunt sequences .

Jagannath Shetty Bala has handled the publicity. Colorbar and Santosh Rai Pataje have handled the DI.

Under the banner of Gayathri Films Makers, producer Hemant Suvarna brings 'Balipe' to life, nurturing its journey from concept to cinematic reality.

Assistant director is Abhishek Arkul while the dialogues are written by Prasad Pujari Arve, Abhishek Arkula and Dayanand G Kattalsar (Daiva).

The storym screenplay and direction is by Prasad Poojary Arva.
