Udupi: Luxury apartments ‘Mandavi Royal Garden’ launched

Udupi, Mar 2: The new luxury apartment project of Mandavi Infrastructures, ‘Mandavi Royal Garden’ which will comprise 2, 3 and 4 BHK apartments, was launched on Saturday March 2 in Royal Garden, Kalsanka Udupi.

Sri Sri Vidyasagaratheertha Swamiji from Sri Krishnapura Math, Udupi, joined by other dignitaries, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.

Fr Charles Menezes, parish priest Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi; Fr Dr Roque D’Souza, parish priest Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte; Fr Romeo Lewis, parish priest Christ Church, Manipal and Alhaj Mohammed Hanif Madani, Khateed, Badriya Juma Masjid, Santhosh Nagar graced the occasion.

The new twin tower project was launched by Udupi MLA Yashpal Suvarna and former MLC Ivan D'Souza, along with dignitaries unveiled the project.

Sri Sri Vidyasagar Theertha Swamiji and former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake released the project brochure.

Addressing the audience, Sri Sri Vidyasagar Theertha Swamiji remarked, "True to its name, this garden exudes a regal ambiance and offers numerous amenities. While many may construct buildings, few ensure the provision of adequate facilities. Dr Jerry Vincent Dias, however, demonstrates exceptional expertise in this domain, crafting exquisite structures complemented by essential amenities. His commitment to customer satisfaction and growth is commendable, aiming to present a delightful gift to his patrons. This project signifies a significant stride in the development of Udupi. Despite being a previously flood-affected area, it has undergone remarkable transformation. I extend my heartfelt wishes for immense success in his endeavours. Moreover, Dr Dias's inclusive approach, supporting all religions, is truly admirable."

MLA Yashpal Suvarna expressed, "Dr Jerry Vincent Dias is a valuable asset to Udupi. His commitment extends beyond business, as he actively engages in various socially-oriented endeavours. He consistently uplifts those around him. The introduction of this new project will undoubtedly enhance the aesthetic appeal of Udupi. I eagerly anticipate its timely completion and inauguration. Rest assured, Dr Jerry Vincent Dias will always have my unwavering support whenever required."

Architect Prakash Simons provided an overview of the project, stating, "The structure will consist of ground plus 40 floors, including a five-floor parking facility. The design adheres to the highest international standards. Two towers will accommodate a total of 280 flats. Significant space has been allocated for landscaping, including the innovative concept of an urban forest. Amenities such as a jogging track, swimming pool, gym, party hall, play courts, and cool deck areas will be provided. The project is scheduled for completion within 36 months."

Prasadraj Kanchan, MD of Kanchana Hyundai, lauded Dr. Jerry Vincent Dias, stating, "Dr Jerry Vincent Dias has pioneered the introduction of apartment culture in Udupi. As enterprising citizens of Udupi, we recognize his remarkable success as a businessman, making him a role model for all. Udupi is witnessing rapid growth, with significant government and private investments pouring into the city. It's noteworthy that private investments drive the swift development of cities, and Dr Jerry Vincent Dias has played a pivotal role in this regard. Projects of the calibre seen in Mumbai or other major cities, such as those by Hiranandani and Godrej, are now becoming a reality in Udupi thanks to Dr Jerry Vincent Dias's relentless efforts."

Vinay Kumar Sorake, former minister congratulated the promoters for bringing such an international level apartment project to Udupi.

Manohar S Shetty, President of CREDAI Udupi, expressed, "This project is truly remarkable. With over 28 years of experience in the business, Dr. Jerry Vincent Dias has played a significant role in the city's development through our collective efforts in building infrastructure. His substantial contributions merit recognition, and he is indeed deserving of the Rajyotsava award. Notably, this project marks a milestone as the first 40-story building in Udupi."

Alhaj Mohammad Madani, Khatib Jamia Masjid, Ramesh Kachan, block Congress president Udupi Krishnamurthy Acharya, president Udupi assembly Congress publicity committee wished their best wishes to the project.

Rathnakar Shetty and Sarika Shetty, entrepreneur Bhuvanendra Kediyoor of Kediyoor Hotels Pvt Ltd, Molly Dias, Jason Dias and family members were present.

Dr Jerry Vincent Dias, managing director Mandavi Infrastructures, welcomed the gathering. Glen Dias, managing partner proposed the vote of thanks. Steevan Colaco compered the programme.
