Mangaluru: Absconding drug peddler arrested; items worth Rs 7.77 lac seized

Mangaluru, Dec 11: Infamous drug peddler Ashith alias Ashwith alias Ashu, who was absconding after supplying narcotics to Shishir Devadiga and Sushan L, who were caught by police while selling LSD and Methamphetamine on public road at Santhosh Nagar of Permannur a few days ago, was arrested by police on Monday December 11 at a ground near Sai Mandir of Madoor under Kotekar village.

The police confiscated 100 gram MDMA worth Rs six lac, 600 gram ganja worth Rs 30000, a Duke bike worth Rs one lac and other goods. The total worth of confiscated goods is Rs 7.77 lac.

Ullal station inspector Balakrishna H N, station PSI Punit Gaonkar and personnel head constable Saju Nair, Mahesh, staff Shivakumar and Akbar Yadrami took part in the operation.
