Mumbai: Former President of Goregaon Karnataka Sangh R S Devadiga Dies

Mumbai, Jul 20: Seventy-eight-year-old R S Devadiga, former president of Goregaon Karnataka Sangh, passed away here recently following a brief illness.



He was a veteran lawyer and a poet who was actively involved in the Goregaon Karnataka Sangh.  He is survived by his wife, one son, and a daughter.

The office-bearers of metro-based Devadiga Sangh and Goregaon Karnataka Sangh condoled the demise of R S Devadiga.

    A silent-sober,great gentleman ..worked with many kannada organisations in Mumbai.. mostly Off-stage!!
    A Lawyer by proffesion, poet by heart...
    And my Goregaon Karnataka Sangha has lost its ever smiling "AARESS"....
