Bengaluru, Jun 14: Karnataka plans to develop start-ups in cities like Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Mysuru and Belagavi and ensure development of the Fin Tech companies in different cities as Unicorns under the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission, IT and Rural Development Minister Priyank Kharge said in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
Addressing a meeting of officials in Bengaluru, he said the State Government is keen to improve digital financial economy and create a conducive atmosphere in the State for establishing start-up ventures.
“With Bengaluru emerging as the Start-Up capital of the country, we want to take all steps to ensure that the city becomes Fin Tech Financial Technology capital,’’ he said pointing out that the government will take all steps to ensure the progress.
