Mangaluru: Congress candidate U T Khader files nomination papers

Mangaluru, April 20: MLA and former minister U T Khader filed his nomination papers on Thursday, April 20, as a Congress candidate for the Mangaluru Vidhana Sabha constituency.

Earlier, he visited Manjanady Carga, Rifai Juma Masjid, Jaradagudde Boliar Koragajjana Katte, Someshwara Somnath Temple, Malayala Chamundi Temple, Raktheshwari Temple Someshwara, Narayana Guru Mandira Kolya, Rama Mandira Kolya, Nagabrahma Temple Kolya, Overbridge Koragajjana Katte, St Sebastian Church Permannur, Vaidyanatha Temple Ullal Bailu, Chirumba Bhagavati Temple Ullal and Sayyed Madani Darga Ullal and took part in a public meeting.

He later went till Ullal Abbakka circle and filed his nomination in the company of the party leaders.

Vidhana Parishat opposition leader B K Hariprasad, Vidhana parishad member Manjunath Bhandary, Harish Kumar, former MLC Ivan D’ Souza, former MLA Shakuntala Shetty, former district Wakf member Kanachur Monu, former Muda chairman Ibrahim Kodijal, former president of Ullal block Congress  Ishwar Ullal, Harsharaj Mudya, Ullal block Congress president Sadashiva Ullal, Mudipu block Congress president Prashanth Kajava, backward class district chief secretary Dinesh Kumpala, Suresh Bhatnagar, Intuc national secretary Rakesh Mally, Congress election observer Devadas Bhandary, former member of district panchayat Mamata D S Gatty, former president of taluk panchayat  Mohammed Monu, Chandrahas Karkera, KPCC spokesperson Abhishek Ullal, Farook Ullal, various unit presidents Chandrika Rai, Vrinda Poojary, Deepak Pilar, Purushotham Pilar, Alwyn D’ Souza, Mustafa Abdulla, Dinesh Rai Ullal, Nasir Nadupavu, Ullal municipal council president Chitrakala Chandrakanth, vice president Ayub Manchila, secretary Munnor, Mohan Salian, T S Abdulla, Salim Ullal and Nasir Samanige were present.

Former member of the taluk panchayat Mohammed Mustafa compered the programme.

    Yes Mr. UTK is an excellent leader, Always contesting from ullal, Mr. UTK should come out from this Muslim locality and should have contested from Mangalore South. I think even Hindu's would vote in is favor. we require leaders like Mr. UTK.
