Kadaba: Soldier from Renjiladi dies of cardiac arrest, funeral conducted with state honours

Kadaba, Mar 29: The last rites of a soldier who hailed from Renjiladi of Kadaba taluk was performed with full state honours on Tuesday.

Lijesh Kurien (30), a resident of Tarappel in Renjiladi and son of former soldier Joni died of cardiac arrest in Coimbatore on March 26. He was working in the Chennai Regiment's Kolkata unit.

Lijesh Kurien is survived by his parents, wife and a one-year-old child.

The mortal remains of Kurien were brought to Tarappel via ambulance to be kept for public viewing at his home. Later, Kurien's body was taken to St Mary's Catholic Forane Church for public viewing.

The religious last rites of the deceased soldier were performed under the leadership of V R Jose Ayankudi. Chethan Gowda of 19 Karnataka Battalion NCC CHM, Hawaldar Samadeep, Hawaldar Dildar Singh, Hawaldar Vipin Kumar, president of retired soldiers association of Kadaba taluk Cherian, tahsildar Ramesh Babu and PSI Shashidhara among others paid their last respects to the late soldier.

Lijesh Kurien had been serving the Indian Army since the last 12 years and he was all set to ring in his 30th birthday on March 30.

    RIP, many heart attacks after vaccination but no investigation ? Looks like vaccines are deadlier than communist virus that elite and commy chinese ployed or game played to checkmate many nations including India, in the name of vaccinate frontline staffs including doctors ?
