Mangaluru, Mar 14: MLA U T Khader said, “The shutters of state government are closed as they are organizing the Vijaya Sakalpa Yatra.”

Addressing media here on Tuesday March 14, Khader said, “People are facing trouble as they are not getting water facilities. There is no one to respond to the problems faced by the public as government officials are on election duty on the 40% Yatra.

“The degree first year results are yet to be announced and they do not have cards to print the certificate. There are no cards to print at RTO for RC and license. The BJP government needs to be ashamed to conduct Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra,” said Khader.

He also demanded to release funds of Rs 30 lac to each constituency to provide water facilities. “The district in-charge minister is not to be seen. They have not conducted KDP meeting yet. An immediate meeting should be called and funds should be released for water task force,” he said.

Reacting to K S Eshwarappa’s statement on Rani Abbakka Bhavan, Khader said, “Despite releasing Rs 8 crore for Rani Abbakka Bhavan, the work has not been started yet. Instead, Karkala Utsav and others utsavas are being organized. The Congress released Rs 50 lac for Abbakka Utsav which has now come down to Rs 10 lac in the BJP’s tenure.”

On Eshwarappa’s statement on Azaan, Khader said, “Eshwarappa has no connection between his mind and words. There is no need of taking his words seriously which has no value as well. He speaks to appease the high command. He is not given a ministerial post and he will not be elected as well in the coming election.”

On Eshwarappa’s yet another statement that Congress’ promises has no guarantee and warranty, Khader said, “During our tenure, we proved that our promises had guarantee and warranty. The BJP have not fulfilled 10% of the promises they made in their manifesto. We see to it that our promises are fulfilled.”
