Bahrain, Mar 12: A huge cultural programme titled ‘Karavali Sambhrama’ will be held on March 17 at Indian Club outdoor premises in the city. The programme will begin at 4 pm sharp.
Roshan Shetty, who has won the hearts of people of Tulunadu due to his stern villain acting in the Tulu movie ‘Girgit’ will lead the show which will spread art and culture of Tulunadu in the island of pearls. Thousands will witness this programme.
Renowned music director Guru Kiran, actor and director of Tulu movies and stage Dr Devdas Kapikad, renowned actor and Bigg Boss winner Roopesh Shetty, renowned Kannada entrepreneur in Australia Nishikant Semita, well-known entrepreneur of Saudi Arabia Bajpe Zacharia, K S Sheikh, Vivek Alva of Alvas Education Trust, Uday Poojary, founder of Biruver Kudla, Sharmila D Kapikad, Ashwath Hegde, managing director of Evergreen Biotech India, popular RJ and host Anurag Bangera, actor and director Saikrishna Kudla and famour music director Guru Bayar will be the guests.
In the talent competition, which is the main attraction of the programme, five teams of talented artistes Kalasha, Bahrain Billavas, Tulunada Tudar, Canara Konkans and Vishwa Taranga will unveil various art forms of Tulunadu on the stage.
Dr Devadas Kapikad and team will present Comedy Bithil comedy drama and songs by Guru Kiran will enthrall the audience. Tiger Dance, pride of Tulunadu, will be presented at the beginning of the programme by the artistes of Bahrain. Renowned Tase artiste Prabhakar Urinjebettu will be arriving specially for the Tiger Dance performance from India.
Exhibition and sales of popular foods and snacks of coastal Karnataka region has been arranged. The complete programme will be captured on camera by renowned cameraman of Dakshina Kannada Daya Kukkaje. Anurag Bangera will compere the event.
