Mangaluru Mar 5: BJP handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lac and a new auto rickshaw to bomb blast victim Purushottam Poojary on Sunday, March 5.

Purushottam Poojary was seriously injured after cooker bomb blast at Nagori on November 19, 2022.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said, "The Cooker blast incident has exposed the conspiracy to make India an islamic state and NIA itself has revealed it. Now what Congress which claimed the accused was innocent and took a jibe on the incident, has to say? BJP won't tolerate vote bank and appeasement politics."

MLA Vedavyas Kamath, mayor Jayanand Anchan, former mayor Premananda Shetty, MUDA chairman Ravi Shankar Mijar and others were present.

    A political party compensating a victim can tantamount to appeasement. The Govt. should frame a policy to compensate all victims of terrorist acts. Such policy is prevalent in Israel.

    I think it's all god's plans. God knew this man is in problems. Therefore god intervened in his life in this way. Otherwise it is impossible to earn 5 lakhs. Who knows how much he was praying. Now he can use this money for his daughter marriage

    Compensation been given after three and a half months, pathetic state of affairs. If the victim wanted money after the blast, stiil this Government not bothered to give a helping hand to the victim of such a tragedy. Thank God Nalin did not wait for the elections.
