Kasargod: Husband of murdered rubber estate labourer arrested from Thiruvananthapuram

Kasargod, Feb 3: Badiadka police have arrested Neethu Krishna's husband from Thiruvananthapuram who remained absconding following the recent murder of the former at Badiadka Elkana.

The arrested was Wayanad Vaitheri resident Anto Anthony (40). The cyber cell which obtained information that he was at Thampanoor, arrested him. Police said he will be escorted to Kasaragod on Friday night.

The couple, Anto Anthony and Neethu Krishna, was staying at a rubber estate house in Elkana and were working as rubber tapping labourers. As a foul smell was emanating from the house two days ago, the murder came to light. Anto Sebastian went absconding.

The post-mortem report had indicated that Neethu Krishna (28), a native of Kollam was strangled to death.
