Mangaluru: Anti-national graffiti - Accused received directions from abroad

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Dec 9: The police, during the questioning of the accused involved with two incidents of graffiti containing pro-terrorist slogans in the city, have realised that they were directed to create the graffiti by a person from abroad.

Mohammed Shaarik from Thirthahalli in Shivamogga district is the main accused in the case. A person who used to contact him through the internet phone call encouraged him to indulge in this kind of deeds to win state-wide attention and create a movement. The caller wanted the things to be done in coastal Karnataka. Shaarik then searched the internet and YouTube, searching for activities which suit him the best He then stumbled on graffiti and executed the plan. The person who issued directions and members involved with this incident are members of a WhatsApp group with its admin at Pune, sources revealed.

Mohammed Shaarik lives at Thirthahalli while Maz Munir Ahammed lives in the city. Shaarik had given the responsibility of observing developments of the activity to Maz. Maz, an engineering student, had initially dithered from taking this responsibility. But Shaarik succeeded in taking him into confidence, as both hail from the same place. They initially wrote slogans on the wall near the court complex but this graffiti went unnoticed. As such, they wrote on a wall near Bejai. Once the act became big news, Maz became anxious and informed his family. After having bent under peer pressure, he is now in jail.

The police also have been questioning another person from Thirthahalli named Sadat. During the questioning of Shaarik and Maz Munir Ahammed, the police came to know that there was another person at the spot. He too has been taken into custody. Sadat reportedly arranged funds for Shaarik and then helped him to escape from the searching police, it is learnt during the questioning.

Even though both got Covid negative reports they could not be produced in the court on Tuesday as the official report of the health department was not received. The police now want to produce the accused in the court on Wednesday afternoon and then seek their police custody.

The silence of the Congress itself is a wrong card played by the party. The self proclaimed custodians of 'TULUNAD' is okay with this henious activity and not even a whimper. Their online warriors too have gone mute and disappeared. So its obvious. Then they say that nobody votes for them and its EVM.

That is the problem currently there is no act. NIA is a investigation agency name. There is a huge difference between agency SOP and any acts (either its a TADA Or POTA OR UAPA). Still need to put them behind bars.

I live in Sweden and back in India now for a short holiday. Saw this and was not surprised at all. These graffitis now are a common sight in Sweden and other parts of Europe. It was never seen before. Once Europe opened the doors for refugees it slowly started. Earlier it was ignored by the locals it did not make any sense. Now ever since the menace has grown and people have started to understand, the law is chasing the culprits. Like someone said here below, its done in the guise of darkness where they expose their true colours. Who knows? In the day they may be our peaceful friends.

Bro, i receive regular inputs from friends in Europe... The situation is very alarming, in Scandinavia countries, like Sweden, Norway n Finland.. Europe continues to be on the edge, due to mass migration of immigrants from Islamic dominated regions... This reminds me, of the Arabian tale, about the camel edging out, his master from his own tent !!! The inevitable brainstorming of the potential threats to their civilization, has woken France and Europe... The crackdown to weed out and neutralize radicalism, has become universal !!!

Wether educated or not, wealthy ones or puncture and bolt ones, when the same propaganda is propogated since childhood and brain washed 24/7 with all these throuhgts, the end result is this. Be it a Opthomalgist fomr Ms Ramaiah hospital who was caught recently for links with I , or that Civil Eng son of Const Moghul, the brain washing cycle continues generation after generation.
