Mangaluru, Dec 1: The police have intensified their probe into the controversial graffiti hailing Lashkar-e-Toiba found at two spots in the city. Police sources said that because of unclear CCTV camera recordings in both the cases, their investigation has been impaired.

In connection with the writing on the wall found at an apartment complex at Kadri here, the police have subjected three persons to questioning. They suspect that those who created the graffiti would have fled from the city after doing their work. The police have been making all efforts to find out the organizations behind these writings, who helped them etc.

There are no eyewitnesses for both the incidents and the CCTV camera footage is unclear. The police have collected footage of several other CCTV cameras in the city for inspecting them. The police officials are confident that they would be able to arrest the accused soon.

As the writings on the walls were written in clear English without any mistake, the police believe that it is the handiwork of someone well-versed in English.

Central subdivision assistant commissioner of police M Jagadeesh, Kadri station inspector Pavitra Teja, and city crime branch inspector Mahesh Prasad, are leading three teams which are looking into the incidents from different angles.
