I don't understand why this sudden influx of people from abroad. Is it that all of a sudden they remembered their motherland and are returning ? Are they all those who lost jobs? Are they all sick and need help in India? If yes, they should be allowed into India only after showing proof about their job loss/sickness. Otherwise, soon India will overtake Italy and USA in Corona cases :(

Most of the Indians working at Gulf don't have medical insurance. They are afraid of medical expenses if they get infected. Whereas here it is free. Dharam shala.

There were 14 flights from Air India every week from Dubai.
Total there were around 4 flights everyday from UAE to Mangalore.
Because of lock down people got stuck in gulf countries . Some of people are in visit visa / Medical emergencies / lost Job.
So its not all of the sudden people want to return to India. Its regular travel coz of lock down its delayed.
Those are in emergencies want to come back as soon as possible.
