Mangaluru, Apr 11: Relief material including rice and grocery items were distributed to the needy families living in the vicinity of Saint Theresa Church, Paldane, with the help of a few generous donors.
The parish priest, Fr Alban D’Souza distributed the packets containing the relief materials to 35 families. “By performing such generous acts during these difficult days, it becomes possible for society to remember the service rendered by Christ,” Fr Alban said.
Church vice-president William Lobo, secretary Austin Monteiro, William Fernandes, Melwin D’Souza, Roshan Crasta, Roshan Monteiro and others were present on the occasion.
