Udupi, Apr 4: “Vehicular traffic can be seen between 7 am and 11 am even though section 144 is in force. I have noticed it. People should understand that prohibitory orders are in force,” said deputy commissioner G Jagadeesha.

“If unnecessary private vehicular traffic is found from tomorrow, those vehicles will be seized and private vehicles will have to be banned. Suitable disciplinary action will have to be taken if situation continues like today,” he warned.

“Out of three corona positive cases, all the three are recovering. The other two people will be discharged after the report comes out negative,” he said.

“Nearly ten vehicles plying on the roads in the city without purpose are seized today. Unnecessary vehicles on the roads will be seized from tomorrow. We will be keeping a keen eye of vehicular traffic from tomorrow. Those who violate Motor Vehicle Act will be fined,” said town SI to Daijiworld.
