Mangaluru, Dec 3: The suicide cases in Dakshina Kannada district are on the upswing in the recent past. Two young girls committed suicide in separate incidents on Monday, December 2.

Usha, a first year PU student from Kombettu government PU College near Puttur, ended her life by hanging when no one was at home on Monday. She was the daughter of late Nagaraj. She is survived by mother and brother.

In another incident reported from Bengre in city, Anisha (24) committed suicide by hanging when all were at home. She went inside her room and did not come out for long time. When family members knocked on the door, there was no response. Once they opened the door, Anisha was found hanging. She breathed her last on the way to the hospital. As her father was unwell, Anisha must have taken the extreme step, some family sources said.

Jesus on despair and how to overcome.

Ref : The Poem of the Man-God Chapter 69 Vol 1.

It is true that to kill oneself is the same as killing other people. Both our own and other people's lives are the gift of God and only God Who gives life, has the authority to take it. Who kills himself, confesses his own pride, and pride is hated by God.

He confesses his pride? I would say his despair. And what is despair but pride? Just think, Judas.

Why does one despair? Either because misfortunes persistently perturb him and he wants to overcome them by himself, but is unable to do so. Or because he is guilty and he thinks that he cannot be forgiven by God. In both cases, is not pride the basic reason?

The man who wants to do all by himself, is no longer humble enough to stretch out his hand to the Father and say to Him: “I am not able, but You are. Help me, because I hope and wait for everything from You.”

The other man who says: “God cannot forgive me” says so, because measuring God by his own standards, he knows that another person could not forgive him, if that person had been offended, as he offended God. So here again it is pride.

A humble man understands and forgives, even if he suffers for the offence received. A proud man does not forgive. He is proud also because he is not capable of lowering his head and saying: “Father, I have sinned, forgive Your poor guilty son.”

But do you not know, Judas, that the Father will forgive everything, if one asks to be forgiven with a sincere, contrite, humble, heart willing to rise again to new life?

Sorry to read the news as reported...,
Once again the so called nationalist zone connection..., the self proclaimed cultural/nationaists/pro-hindu organizations .., is simply engaging activities which are politically biased..., totally fail to identify & counsel the down trodden strata of society....,
One must appreciate the christian community members who identify such people/families in distress and try to bring them out from their agony by whatever help which is in their disposal and by way of proper counseiling..., (though not always successful but by and large they do their best to address the problem honestly)

Above all... demon itization .. damaged not only the economic benefits/well beings of the society but also the mental health of the Hindustani's....!!!

only time will be the healer...., satya meva jayathe..., LORD BRAHMA knows the plight of the poor..., and he alone capable of setting things right & straight....,

    jh
    jai hind...,

It's really hard to digest... Days are come to renovate the houses.. There should not be any private rooms for individuals... All family should stay, eat, sleep just in one hall... Corner of the room, there should be small table to cook... How the parents must be going through this.... Rest in peace both of you... Condolences from the depth of our heart and prayers to the bereaved family.. M

The reason is too much girls are behind fake boys. Girls think that boys do true love ,but after their purpose they go away. This make girls disappointment. Medical report will disclose the true reason. Without knowledge of parents girls and boys roaming has become common. Most of the multiplexes, Hotels, and Parks we can see this type of pairs. When something went wrong, immediately the boy or girl take this extreme decision. Many times parents refuse for friendships. This may be the reason also.

It is observed that suicide cases in Dakshina Kannada district are on the upswing. It is therefore expedient that a STUDY GROUP is formed to to make an in depth research on the causes leading to these cases of suicides.

There is also the need to start counselling centers to give talks to relevant people and advise them
