Mumbai, Sep 8: Veteran singer Sudesh Bhosale paid an emotional tribute to legendary singer Asha Bhosle on her 93rd birth anniversary, recalling their musical association and expressing how deeply he continues to miss her.

Taking to Instagram, Bhosale affectionately addressed the late singer as "Asha Aai" and said her blessings and guidance remain a source of strength for him.

Sharing a collage of memories, he wrote, "Missing you every second, Asha Aai. On your 93rd Birth Anniversary, your blessings and guidance are my strength. Love you forever."

The post included several cherished moments shared with Asha Bhosle, including photographs featuring Bhosale's children with the legendary singer. He also added the song "Puchho Na Yaar Kya Hua" from the film _Zamaane Ko Dikhana Hai_ to the post.

Bhosale and Asha Bhosle shared a longstanding musical association and collaborated on several projects over the years.

One of their notable collaborations was the 2006 album _Asha Reveals Real RD_, which featured rare and previously unheard compositions of legendary music director R.D. Burman, rendered by Asha Bhosle and Sudesh Bhosale.

The album brought together lesser-known tracks associated with Burman's musical legacy, including "Muthukodi Kawadi Hada", "Karle Pyar" and "Bhali Bhali Si Ek Surat."

Asha Bhosle, one of India's most celebrated playback singers, enjoyed a career spanning more than eight decades and lent her voice to thousands of songs in multiple languages.

Asha Bhosle passed away in Mumbai on April 12, 2026, at the age of 92. Her death prompted an outpouring of grief, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several members of the Hindi film fraternity paying tribute to her immense contribution to Indian music and cinema.
