Sullia: No ministership to MLA Angara - District BJP to take delegation to CM

Daijiworld Media Network - Sullia (MS)

Sullia, Aug 25: It is decided to take a delegation under the leadership of Dakshina Kannada district BJP president and MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor along with state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel to Bengaluru and plead with CM B S Yediyurappa to provide ministerial berth to six-time MLA of Sullia S Angara.

In the background of the extreme rage expressed by the Sullia taluk BJP for not offering minister position to Angara, DK BJP president Sanjeeva Matandoor, former MLC Monappa Bhandary and Captain Ganesh Karnik met the local leaders of Sullia on Saturday, August 25.

According to the urge expressed by the Sullia BJP and the activists, it was decided in the meeting to take a delegation of all the MLAs of the district as well as the prominent leaders of Sullia taluk to meet the CM and urge him to provide ministerial position to Sullia MLA Angara at least in the next cabinet expansion.

S Angara

In a statement after the meeting, Sanjeeva Matandoor, president of DK district BJP said, "We expected Sullia MLA S Angara to get ministerial berth during the cabinet formation. We all were hopeful of a minister position for him as he has won for the sixth consecutive time from Sullia. We will meet chief minister B S Yediyurappa and urge him to provide minister berth to Angara in the next cabinet expansion."

It is known through reliable sources that Angara spoke to the district BJP president Sanjeeva and said, "Personally, I was not an aspirant for the position of minister. However, after saying initially that my name is there in the list of ministers to be inducted and then saying no at the last moment has pained the people of the constituency and the activists of the party. This has to be set right."

In BJP leader who lost polls & was caught watching porn in House enters Karnataka cabinet. One of the new Karnataka ministers, Laxman Savadi had weathered the porn controversy with audacity, claiming the clips were for ‘educational purposes’.

In 2012, BJP leaders Laxman Savadi, C.C. Patil and Krishna Palemar resigned as Karnataka ministers after they were caught watching porn in the assembly while the proceedings were on — a controversy that left the party deeply embarrassed.

Seven years later, two of them — Patil and Savadi — are back in the state cabinet.

Of the 17 rebel MLAs who rebelled, Savadi is said to have convinced six legislators of the Congress to switch sides.

The honest leaders in BJP are sidelined for 'Porn' loving and lost leaders.

Perhaps if MLA Angara or Mr. Haladi Srinvas Shetty contested the election and independent candidate and won the elections ministry is guaranteed without any clause.

Majority people in DK and Udupi voted for BJP in the last assembly and lok sabha elections saying that they are voitng for Modi and not local representatives.
Now Modi is happily touring abroad and concentrating only on his state of Gujarat and other north and west Indian states.
All the MLAs and MPs of BJP of the twin districts have not power at all.
People who are affected in flood in these districts are deserted.

@ Jai India, Mangalore-I disagree with your comments because under the present scenario not only BJP but also all the political parties are power hungers, greed for the power at the cost of public. They are not bothered or least worried about the welfare of the people, their main intention is to come to the power at any cost and make money quick billions and amass wealth for generation to generation of their family. Some are interested in family politics, some are interested in important ministerial berth in the cabinet and some are interested only in creating troubles in the name of politics. You will not find any minister in any one of the parties who are eligible, honest, credible and even educated. Those were the gone days.Poor people like us to suffer because of their dirty politics. They are expert in saving their chairs, making money/wealth by fooling the public. They are fit only for destroying our beautiful country just because of their lust, greed, ego bla bla.

I agree 100% with you. It's a universal truth about politician not only in India but world wide. But BJP is one step ahead by sealing the power forever by hook and crook and defeating the very meaning of parliament of democracy and doing everything against constitution and suppressing the opposition voice. By this BJP has made itself unopposed single party without opposition and without accountability which is a authoritarian rule. Henceforth BJP doesn't have to care about election results as it a guaranteed victory for them whether people like them or no for whatever they do to people.

Definitely BSY or Amit Shah has not told Sri Angara that he will be made a minister
Who has told him that his name was present in the ministers list ? Was he getting Dream or what?
My suggestion is for Angara If he is feeling insulted in BJP being not offered ministers post he should immediately resign from MLAs post and vacate the seat for someone else and let him fight from Congress ticket so that a new able candidate shall be elected from Sullia

    Angara is a stubborn man.
Yeddy should not give him any Minister Post.
Let him be an MLA for ever.

BJP's main intention was to come to power somehow by cheating and by false promises to these rebel MLAs. So, once in power then BJP can establish its EVM raj and remain in power for ever. It's a big challenge for opposition now to dislodge BJP from power as BJP has the help of EVMs, money and muscle power to do anything they want. No law can touch them. It's going to be a goondaraj for ever.
