Moodbidri: Carmel School holds session on 'Nutritive Food'


Moodbidri, Aug 24: Carmel School here, organised a talk on 'Nutritive Food' by John Menezes, a researcher in Science for the students.

The students assembled at the school auditorium and the session began with a prayer song.

Teacher Ramya welcomed and introduced the resource person to the gathering.

The resource person highlighted the importance of nutrients needed for our body, best drink, food for energy such as wholegrain, vegetable, fibre food, etc.

He encouraged the students to have nutritive food instead of junk food. He also told the students to distribute fruits and nuts instead of chocolates on their birthdays. He imparted information on study skills especially on Math and Science for classes 9 and 10. John Menezes concluded by wishing the students well with good health of body and mind.



The session ended with a vote of thanks by Melisha of class 8.
