Doha: Sandalwood star Darshan to be grace KSQ Rajyothsava celebration

Doha, Nov 15: Talking to the media Karantaka Sangha Qatar (KSQ) president Venkat Rao shared with media, Kannada matinee idol, popularly known as Challenging Star, Darshan Thoogudeep will grace the forthcoming 63rd Karnataka Rajyothsava day celebrations being organised by KSQ, an associate organization of Indian Cultural Centre, on November 16 at DPS auditorium, Wakrah.

The very famous kannada writer and lyricist Jayanth Kaikini will be bestowed with ‘Qatar Kannada Samman’ award for 2018 during the event. Srujan Lokesh a household name in Karnataka who hosts the popular ‘Maja Talkies’ reality show will grace the function. The commercial head of Colours Kannada group Parameshwar Gundkal will be honoured during the programme. Different ballet dances will be staged by the visiting couple artistes Vikram Suri and Namitha Rao from Surya Kalavidaru team. Vyasaraj Sosale and Jyothi Vyasaraj, playback singers will render the old and latest hit numbers.

ShruthiPurushottam, third secretary at Indian Embassy, Qatar will be the chief guest for the function and Milan Arun, ICC president, will be the guest of honour.

Local members of KSQ and other Karnataka based associations in Qatar will also perform during the event.
