Udupi, Nov 9: The inauguration and blessing of newly renovated cemetery was held recently.
Dr Jerald Isaac Lobo, bishop of Udupi celebrated the Mass and Fr Prakash Menezes preached on the occasion. Soon after the Mass, the newly renovated cemetery was inaugurated and blessed by the bishop. He said, "First holy place for the Christians is the church and the second holy place is the cemetery. So we have to keep this place holy and beautiful.”
Parish priest Fr Edwin D'Souza thanked the donors and the parishioners for their contribution and helping hand.
