Mangaluru, Jul 22: With the blessings of the founder chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr. CA A Raghavendra Rao, the Institute of Management & Commerce And Institute of Port Shipping & Logistics Management organized its orientation programme 2026 for the newly admitted students at city campus Pandeshwara, on July 22, 2026.
The programme was presided over by Dr A Srinivas Rao, honourable chancellor, Srinivas University, and president, A Shama Rao Foundation. He said, India is developing rapidly and needs strong managerial skills and leadership. We teach not only theory but also focus on practical, skill-oriented learning for the overall development of our students. Our faculty members actively encourage innovation and hands-on experience.









Srinivas University Board of governors trustee member, Vijayalakshmi R. Rao welcomed the students to the Srinivas University family and advised them to utilize the opportunities provided by the university and achieve their dreams through hard work.

Mitra S Rao, administered the oath and paid tribute to founder chancellor Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, saying that though he is no longer with us, his vision continues to inspire every student and faculty member. She urged students to dream big, never limit their potential, and continuously develop their skills. "You are the future of our nation. Stand for what is right, seize every opportunity to serve the country, and make both yourselves and the nation proud," she said.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Venkatesh Amin, dean Institute of Management & Commerce and Institute of Port Shipping & Logistics Management. The vote of thanks was delivered by Prof Shilpa, and the event was compered by Prof Yashaswi Ail and Prof Akshatha Samson.
