The inquiry of bail application of Guruprasad Panja was conducted on November 2. However, the order was kept pending to be declared on November 3. Lawyer Venkappa Gowda presented the argument in favour of Guruprasad.

Judge infuriated over the absence of Chaitra Kundapur

Chaitra Kundapur, who is under judicial custody, did not attend the hearing on Saturday as she is being treated for illness in a hospital in Mangaluru. The jail superintendent had submitted an application explaining the reason for not presenting Chaitra to the court. The superintendent had clarified in his application that Chaitra is under treatment since October 26 and is not presented to the court as she did not recover completely and will be presented on the day of next hearing of the case.

The judge who got furious at this explanation of the jail superintendent said, "The accused did not have any ailments when she was presented to the court earlier. The doctors of Sullia also had even certified to the court that there is no reason for admitting Chaitra as an inpatient. So the complete details of Chaitra's present medical condition have to be certified in the presence of the court by the medical officer of Mangaluru on November 5. The jail superintendent also needs to be present on November 5."

The judge also ordered to present Chaitra in front of him in a government ambulance.

I have suggestion for all those doctors who fabricate medical conditions to save any goons... please respect the ethical oath you have taken when you received your degree and stop supporting goons.

You are doing unethical thing and you are also misleading the court , misusing the trust we people kept on you...

Indirectly you are taking part in their goon business of disrupting peace in society.
