Sullia, Oct 26: Chaithra Kundapur, for the first time, has clarified about the clash which took place between two groups, one led by taluk secretary of Hindu Jagarana Vedike, Guruprasad Panja, and another one by herself.
Ina video message, she said, “Guruprasad Panja and Ashith Kallaje had posted indecent comments on my Facebook page. I tolerated and remained quiet about it. But Guruprasad and his accomplices who came to Narasimha Math on October 24, waylaid our car. They also tried to break the windshields of my car. When I came out from the car at that juncture, Guruprasad assaulted me. Therefore, I pushed him back to protect myself.

“Guruprasad is a rowdy sheeter. Why would I go and fight with him even after knowing the same? Will I go to assault him even after knowing that he is a rowdy?” she asked. The video has gone viral in social media.
Chaithra falls sick, admitted to Wenlock Hospital
Chaithra , who was sent to judicial custody relating to assault in Subramanya has been admitted to hospital as her health deteriorated. She was shifted from Mangaluru sub jail to Wenlcok Hospital as she was suffering from high fever.
