Mangaluru: Suraj Bolar’s much awaited Tulu film ‘Pattis Gang’ released

Mangaluru, Aug 10: Much awaited Coastalwood movie ‘Pattis Gang’, directed by Suraj Bolar, was premiered on Thursday August 9 at Forum Mall in city.

During the premier, Mangaluru city police commissioner T R Suresh wished the team of 'Pattis Gang' success.

Mangaluru North MLA Bharat Shetty said, “‘Pattis Gang’ has been made by a young team in memory of late Anand Bolar. The Coastalwood movie industry is gradually improving and I hope that the movie ‘Pattis Gang’ will become a blockbuster,”

Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian said, “Film strengthens Tulu language and the beauty of Tulunadu is shown in Coastalwood movies.”

The film stars Mohan Sheni, Vismay Vinayak, Ajay Raj and Chandrahasa Ullal in lead roles. Navyatha Rai has made her debut as lead actress. Tulu actors Aravind Bolar, Kishore D Shetty, Vijay Kumar Kodialbail and Deepak Rai Panaje are seen in prominent roles.

Music is composed by Manikanth Kadri and camera work is by Siddhu G S.

Suraj Bolar has written and directed the movie. ‘Pattis Gang’ is produced by Preetham M N and Suraj Bolar under Inbox Creatives productions.

Preetham M N welcomed all dignitaries present during the release.

Educationist Sadananda Shetty, Bhaskar Kotian and others were present.
