Mangaluru, Oct 29: Malaika Home Appliances inaugurated its fourth showroom in the city on Saturday October 29 at Inland Roopali at Bendoorwell.

Director of Infant Jesus Shrine, Fr Elias D'Souza inaugurated the showroom by lighting the lamp.

Speaking at the event he said, "Malaika Group has been rendering its service towards improving human life. I wish them good luck."

Mangaluru region head of LG Home Appliances, Ashok Babu said, "Malaika Group and its managing director Gilbert Baptist have been premier customers of LG and have taken our brand to new heights."

The assistant parish priest of Bendore church Fr Roshan D'Cunha blessed the premises.

Gilbert Baptist welcomed the gathering while his spouse Marceline Baptist thanked everyone. Raymond D'Cunha compered the programme.

Entrepreneur Arun Mendes, branch head of the city's Malaika Co-Operative Society Reena, director of Four Winds Mass Communication Elias Fernandes and Sushil Noronha were among those present.

The 10,000 sq feet new showroom offers a variety of home appliances from leading brands including LG, Samsung, IFB, Videocon etc. Customers can avail various offers this festive season. The group also has its branches in Hampankatta, Chilimbi and Thokkottu.

Another new showroom of Malaika Group was also inaugurated in Puttur later.
