Mangaluru: Second office of Interlog Services opens at Mangalore Internet City

Mangaluru, Sep 18: The second office of Interlog Services Pvt Ltd, a French freight forwarding company, was inaugurated here at the Internet City, Bondel here on Saturday September 17 by Ivan D'Souza, chief whip of legislative council, along with J R Lobo, MLA Mangaluru south.

Addressing the gathering, Fr Denzil Lobo, director of AIMIT, said "Mangaluru has produced great talents. I am happy that Ivan Fernandes and Jean Marie Mascarenhas are trying to promote the talent of Mangaluru. There are so many great personalities in Mangaluru who have worked hard and come up in life and today the same people trying to elevate Mangaluru and win it a pride of place international scene. "For this great endeavour, I congratulate Ivan Fernandes and Jean Marie." he stated.

























































MLA, J R Lobo, said "I congratulate Interlog Services for choosing Mangaluru for its investment. Whenever investors come to our place, we need to support them in every possible way. So i assure them all the possible support in every possible way. Mangaluru is a beautiful place. It is not because of government alone. The credit goes to the people who hail from this region. The people of this region are entrepreneurs by nature who have excelled in various fields ventures. We need to attract people who have done well in various fields. Mangaluru has many positive aspects such as good connectivity through all major modes of transport. I am sure that within a month from now, this city will be chosen as a smart city. A total investment of Rs 450 crore including ADB second phase, 'Amruth' scheme and smart city project will come in to our city. Our only request to NRI's is to woo the investors from abroad to invest in Mangaluru," he explained.

Ivan D'Souza said "Mangaluru has everything including infrastructure, education, healthcare and transport. But people are not coming forward in a big way. I congratulate Ivan Fernandes for starting this venture. Government can do many things if people take initiative. Recently the government of Karnataka had organized an investors meet at Bengaluru where the investors were promised with all the support. I wish all the success to Ivan and Jean Marie."

Jean Marie Mascarenhas, president of Interlog Services, and Ivan Fernandes, managing director of MIC, briefed about the company.

Directors of MIC, Shobha Mendonca, Frank Fernandes, Lawrence Mendonca, James Mendonca, Mark D'souza, Francis Mascarenhas, Jerome Saldana, Claudius Periera, Anil Rego, and others were present.
