Mangaluru, Jul 11: Christian Sports Association® will organise the 2nd edition of Chess Tournament exclusively for members of the Christian community on Sunday August 2, at St Aloysius High School Hall, Kodialbail, Lighthouse Hill Road.
The tournament aims to encourage young minds and promote the game of chess among children, youth and adults while fostering sportsmanship and fellowship within the community.
The competition will be held in the following categories:
* Under-10 Boys & Girls
* Under-13 Boys & Girls
* Under-16 Boys & Girls
* Open Men & Women
Trophies will be awarded to the Top 5 Boys and Top 5 Girls in each junior category, while winners across categories will also receive attractive cash prizes.
The last date for registration is July 26.
Christian Sports Association ® has invited all eligible chess enthusiasts from the Christian community to participate and make the event a celebration of talent, discipline, and sportsmanship.
