Mumbai, Jul 10: Actor Nikitin Dheer is all set to reprise his role as the formidable Waseem Khan in “Raktanchal Season 3,” saying the latest chapter of the crime drama pushes his character into his toughest battle yet.
Speaking about his return, Nikitin said stepping back into Waseem Khan's shoes has been a rewarding experience because of the character's complexity and evolving journey.
“Returning as Waseem Khan is always fulfilling because he's a deeply layered character. He has an imposing presence, but this season he is confronted with his biggest challenge so far. The rivalry that viewers have witnessed over the years reaches a completely new level, and I believe audiences will enjoy every twist that follows,” he said.

The makers on Friday unveiled the trailer for the upcoming season, teasing the most intense instalment of the franchise. The story follows Vijay Singh, who resurfaces after spending four years in hiding with a single objective—to settle scores with his long-time rival, Waseem Khan.
The arrival of new characters, Virendra Pratap Singh and Himanshu Patnaik, further reshapes the power struggle, adding fresh conflict and unexpected alliances to the narrative.
Actor Kranti Prakash Jha, who returns as Vijay Singh, said revisiting the character after several years was both exciting and emotionally familiar.
“Vijay Singh has always been defined by determination and courage. This season places him in circumstances that test his strength and convictions at every step. Each confrontation is more intense than before, and viewers can expect a gripping journey leading to the biggest face-off in the franchise,” he said.
Directed by Ritam Srivastav and written by Siddharth Mishra, “Raktanchal Season 3” is scheduled to premiere on July 16 on Amazon MX Player.
